First of all, welcome!

I am Leni and my passion is languages and positive connections. Since childhood, my life has led me towards communication. With languages it is easier to overcome borders, understand cultures and connect.

I combine my two mother tongues, Balearic-Catalan (Mallorquín) and Spanish, with German, English and French.

I have over 20 years’ experience as a language teacher. I am happy to teach in an interactive group or one-to-one. Private students can choose flexibly between face-to-face meetings and online lessons, e.g. via Skype. I have hundreds of satisfied students and convey my knowledge as simply as possible so that they can communicate in the language they are learning without difficulty.

We do best what we love most. I am passionate about the environment, ecology and sustainability. My other areas of expertise are: Tourism & Travel, Health & Medicine and Education & Training. I translate from German, English and French into Spanish or Catalan, with great attention to detail.

I love spending time with my family and friends, reading and learning. I also spend as much time as possible in nature, going for long walks and letting my creativity run free.

My enthusiasm for educational content is reflected in two German learning guides:

As the Catalan language and culture is close to my heart, I have been actively supporting ‘Voluntariat per la llengua‘ as a volunteer since 2020

To support important social issues, I volunteer for PerMondo and Translators without Borders.

I studied tourism at the Felipe Moreno School of Tourism and at Balearic Islands University (UIB) and worked in the tourism sector in different hotels. I have worked and lived in both Mallorca and Zurich, including as cabin crew for Crossair and Swiss International Airline.

In 2019, I graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the International University of Valencia (VIU) and started my language services full time.
